We are building the private cloud layer for Africa.
A Private Cloud Engineering company based in Accra. We give African organisations infrastructure that is built locally, owned fully, and operated with precision.
Built from the inside out.
SwiftInfra did not start as a market opportunity. It started as a problem we lived inside for four years. Working within a major Ghanaian public institution, we watched the gap between what organisations needed from their infrastructure and what they could realistically access, afford, and operate. The expertise required to build modern cloud environments was either unavailable locally or priced in foreign currency for foreign contexts. Internal IT teams were capable but under-resourced. Infrastructure decisions defaulted to what was familiar, not what was right.
Over four years, we designed, deployed, and operated a production private cloud environment inside that institution — compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and the operational systems that keep everything running without constant manual intervention. We learned what breaks in the African institutional environment, how to build around it, and what genuine operational resilience looks like when the power is unreliable, the hardware is heterogeneous, and the team maintaining it is small.
SwiftInfra exists because that experience should not stay inside one institution. The regulatory pressure is real. The cost pressure is real. The gap in locally available infrastructure expertise is real. We are the team that closes it — not from a distance, but from Accra, with the context that only comes from having done this work here.
African institutions deserve a third option.
The only choices have been expensive foreign licensing or public cloud that moves sensitive data out of reach. SwiftInfra closes that gap — private cloud on your hardware, locally deployed, fully owned.
The old way
Foreign licensing with unpredictable renewal costs. Data that leaves the country. Vendors who disappear after the sale.
The SWIFTINFRA way
Private cloud on your hardware. Data that stays local. Engineers who own the outcome and keep the environment running.
The engineers behind the work.
Two engineers with four years of hands-on experience building and operating production infrastructure inside Ghanaian institutions. We do not consult from a distance. We deploy, operate, and stay accountable.
Emmanuel
Co-founder — Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
Four years building and operating production infrastructure for Ghanaian institutions. Specialises in private cloud architecture, container orchestration, and intelligent operations systems. Designs the environments SwiftInfra deploys and owns the technical direction of every engagement.
Kofi
Co-founder — Systems, Networks & Operations
Four years running enterprise infrastructure across virtualisation, storage, and networking in Ghanaian institutional environments. Responsible for the operational backbone of every SwiftInfra deployment — the systems that stay running after handover and the engineer clients reach when something needs fixing.
Six principles. Every engagement.
Not values on a wall — operating constraints that determine how we scope work, communicate, and stay accountable.
Engineering precision
Documented, tested, and built to last.
Radical ownership
If it breaks, it is on us to fix it.
Local relevance
Built for Africa, from Africa.
Honest communication
We say what clients need to hear, clearly and early.
Continuous mastery
We stay ahead of infrastructure so clients do not have to.
Quiet confidence
No buzzwords. Results that are hard to argue with.
